In addition, if one of your patients relocates, you can refer with confidence to an AAOMC member in the area knowing your patient will be seen by a doctor who stays on top of their field.

The Ortho-K Forum - Allows members to discuss topics relevant to the practice of Ortho-K from complex case reviews and feedback to brainstorming.

The Annual Meeting - Vision By Design – As a member of the AAOMC you will receive discounts on our annual meeting registration fees. Featuring world renowned speakers, the latest trends and research, intensive workshops, and a community eager to share it’s expertise.

Fellowship (FIAO) - The opportunity to pursue Fellowship status. A Fellow is someone whom the Academy has recognized as having made a significant contribution to the practice of Orthokeratology. This prestigious award is an acknowledgment of commitment to the profession, experience and accomplishments.

International Support - Not only are you joining your fellow Orthokeratologists throughout the US, you will also become a part of the global Ortho-K community through the IAO (International Academy of Orthokeratology).

Student Membership

Open to any current student or new graduate (within one year of graduation).

Student Membership qualifies for students who have an interest in the specialty of Orthokeratology (Ortho-K). This includes students of Optometry, Ophthalmology and Opticians.

Access to the AAOMC forum and networking with members.
Access to Student Admission to AAOMC sponsored events and meetings.
The opportunity to pursue Mentee status upon full membership.

Student Membership is not a voting membership. Student Members may not hold office within the AAOMC. Student Membership does not grant doctor/office listing.
